How much do you charge for a consultation?
Your first initial consultation is free. At the end of the consultation, if there is work that you would like done, for estate planning we will generally quote you flat rate fee for that work (unless hourly rates apply) and will discuss a deposit for services before document drafting will begin. For hourly services such as guardianship, you will be provided with an estimate of how many hours may be required.
What are your rates?
Our rates vary depending upon your particular situation and the work you would like us to complete. We try to keep our rates competitive and reasonable for our clients. We will generally quote you a flat fee for any work we agree upon, and we will never charge extra costs or fees without discussing this with you first.
*Please note that some services, such as guardianship matters and some probate/trust administration/estate administration matters are billed at an hourly rate.
Do I need to update my estate planning documents if I moved here from out-of-state?
Yes, there may be some documents you should update if your previous documents were done in another state. We recommend setting up a complimentary consultation with us to discuss your situation, your documents, and whether any of your documents require updates.
When are you available to meet?
We are generally available Monday through Thursday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and occasionally Fridays by appointment only.
Where are you located?
Our office is located at 521 N. Argonne Road, Building B, Suite 103, Spokane Valley. The access to our parking lot is just off E. Alki Avenue. There is disabled parking available in front of the building, and our office is located on the first level of Building B.
Can we meet remotely?
Yes! We are more than happy to meet via phone, Zoom, or any other remote method you prefer. However, if there are items that require your signature in person, the signing appointment will need to be at our office, unless other arrangements are specifically arranged in advance.
Do you make house calls?
Yes, but due to scheduling considerations, we are only able to make house calls when medically necessary. If you are unable to come to our office due to illness, disability, or other significant mobility limitations, we may be able to meet with you at your home or care facility within Spokane County.
A flat $200 house call fee applies to each visit and is due in advance of the appointment.
